Product Description

A single-phase pole mounted transformer is a special type of single-phase transformer that has a pole mounted shape. It consists of a primary winding and a secondary winding and is primarily used to step up or step down the voltage of AC power.

The single-phase pole mounted transformer typically uses a toroidal core to support and guide the magnetic field. This core is made of a high-permeability material, such as silicon steel, to enhance the efficiency of the transformer and reduce iron losses. The primary and secondary windings are wound around this core and achieve voltage transformation through mutual induction.

Compared to other regular single-phase transformers, the single-phase pole mounted transformer offers several advantages. Firstly, due to its pole mounted shape, it has a smaller size and volume, making it suitable for applications with limited space. Secondly, the pole mounted design provides better heat dissipation, allowing the transformer to cool more effectively and have a higher power density. Additionally, the compact structure of the pole mounted transformer helps to reduce electromagnetic interference and noise.

The conventional type of single-phase pole mounted transformer is a common type of power transformer that features a circular core and pole mounted windings. Here is an introduction to the conventional type of single-phase pole mounted transformer:

Compact structure: The conventional type of single-phase pole mounted transformer is designed with a circular core and pole mounted windings, resulting in a compact structure. 

High power density: This type of transformer has a high power density. 

Excellent heat dissipation: The pole mounted shape of the transformer enables effective heat dissipation through the pole mounted enclosure, which provides a large surface area. 

Low electromagnetic noise: The closed structure of the circular core in the conventional pole mounted transformer helps to minimize electromagnetic interference and noise. 
This type of transformers are CSP type, which can protect itself from thunder and lighting, short circuit and protect the transiting and distribution line from current failure because of self-malfunction.
Except from some similarities such as cylinder tank, hooks, lifting lugs, grounding devices, nameplates, core and winding with the conventional type. This type of transformers have characteristics and devices as follows:

1) One or two high voltage bushings are on the cover with fuse.
2) One or two arresters are installed on the wall of the tank, whose top end is near to the high voltage bushing, and connected to the bushing by a copper strip. One secondary breaker switch is above the winding inside the tank, and here are operating handle,overload reset and signal light.
3) Low voltage bushing is educed from the wall of the tank, grounding device is fixed to position X2. One end of the single
bushing leads out through the high voltage bushing, the other end is ground connection.
4) All units are built in accordance with IEC60076, ANSI/IEEEC57.12.20, CSA C2.1-06,CSA C2.2-06 and etc.

As shown in the picture above, Daelim transformers are packed in wooden case. Put the transformer on a solid wooden pallet for fixing, and protect it with wooden boards on the top and around. Such wooden case packaging ensures that the transformer will avoid damage caused by impact during transportation.

The other type of packaging in the picture above is wooden pallet packaging.
This packaging method of transformers is usually used for full container transportation by sea. After wrapping the transformer with plastic film (moisture and scratch protection), fix it on the log pallet.
